Project GROW: Independent Evaluation (remunerated)

Project GROW CESPHN is delivering the Primary Care Enhancement Program (PCEP), a Commonwealth funded pilot program, aimed at improving health outcomes for people with intellectual disability. The CESPHN project is called GROW.

The Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care has engaged Abt Associates to undertake an independent evaluation of the PCEP pilot. This evaluation will inform future funding and a national rollout.

The evaluation includes a qualitative analysis of program activities via stakeholder interviews with:

Health care providers who have engaged with the GROW program
People with intellectual disability, their carers and families who have received services from GROW-trained clinicians

Clinicians and people with lived experience who participate in the evaluation will be remunerated for their time.

Ethics approval for this evaluation was obtained from Bellberry Limited (2022-06-605).
